Ngee Hua LIM, CEO & Founder


She has been involved only with the best in her career, developing her business development & investment capacities for close to two (2) decades since the late 1990s, from working for the largest global serviced apartment owner-operator The Ascott Group, being in the senior management team of the truly unique European club resort Club Med to being a scholarship recipient & pioneer founding member of the Venture Capital arm of the most affluent Asia real estate family business by asset value Far East Organisation and in a leading conglomerate SembCorp with utilities, marine & infrastructure business across six (6) continents worldwide. Today, she continues to work through NH Expansion only those companies and family offices that are or inspired to be in the same league.

She made strategic investments in early years of her career in data management start-up with Microsoft and Intel and run an incubation centre for tech start-ups. She has also made market entry in Japan and  through acquisitions and pioneer new asset classes in corporate leasing in Japan and branded residences in China.  A former member of the merger & acquisition arm of SembCorp Environmental, she successfully acquire ESG projects (including its 1st project in India). Based subsequently in Chennai, India, she established the Indian Representative Office with Shriram Group as their strategic partner.  

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building (1st Class Honours), a discipline that specialised in asset management for buildings, from National University of Singapore, Singapore’s oldest university and also attended high school and colleges in Singapore with alumni ranging from Singapore Prime Minister to First Lady of Singapore.   Based in Australia, China and Japan over a span of 10 years, she asset managed accumulated portfolio of US$2 billion under Private Equity Fund and REIT of Ascott.  

She has several of her articles published in academic publications and journals of Stock Exchange of Singapore which includes the following:

• International Journal for Construction Marketing (Volume 1, Issue 2) “The Strategic Responses of Construction Firms to the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997-1998″

• Stock Exchange of Singapore Journal “Outlook for Construction in Singapore”

She has also been a distinguished speaker and panellist for numerous leading industry events & seminar in Asia which includes the following:

• “China Hotels & Tourism” Conference held in Beijing & Shanghai organised by Horwath HTL, STR Global and China Tourist Hotel Association.

• “4th Annual Resort Development & Hospitality”, a Marcus Evans event held in Sanya, China; and

• Singapore’s Building & Construction Authority seminar in Singapore

A multi-faceted professional, the brand she represented emerged as Number 2 on the ranking among other international & local hospitality brands in the participants’ survey for Horwath Conference 2014 after she had been an active speaker/panellist for one year. This is a testimony on her brand representation ability.

She is currently the Secretary on the Executive Committee Board of Singapore Fintech Association, leading /co-leading four (4) subcommittees/focus area, namely 1) fundraising 2) Partnerships 3) Co-working fintech space 4) Woman in Fintech.  She has written blogs on Fintech fundraising.   She was recently recognised as a Leading Female Leader in Asia (only Singaporean on the List) in the Sept 2020 issue of the Fintech Times (global news outlet), as an expert specifically in InvestTech (commonly known as WealthTech).


She speaks four (4) languages/dialects fluently including Chinese & Teochew. Her global work exposure allows her to appreciate and capitalise on emerging Niche and Hot (NH) Sector that are more recession proofed during dynamic times.
